A bespoke shirt provides a wonderful compliment to a bespoke suit. Once you have experienced a shirt created specifically for you, you will find the difference between ‘off the peg’ and what we can offer you quite extraordinary.

All you have to do is to arrange an appointment for us to call on you for a consultation at your home or office.

Our shirts are individually hand cut and sewn to the style you choose and are always finished with mother of pearl buttons.

Under our guidence you will select from a variety of collar and cuff shapes and an almost limitless choice of cloth from England, Italy and Switzerland.

After your requirements that best meet your individual fashion style are determined, we then proceed as follows:

  • 1. Measuring
  • We take your measurements to ensure perfect sizing.
  • 2. Drafting
  • An individual paper pattern is created showing the particular style created from your measurements.
  • 3. Cloth Cutting
  • After the paper pattern has been cut, it is then chalked around on the selected cloth and the outlay of the shirt cut by hand.
  • 4. Assembling
  • Our shirts are individually hand sewn and are always finished with the highest grade mother of pearl buttons.
  • 5. Final Piece
  • Although we are confident the fit of your first shirt will exceed your expectations, occasionally some minor alterations may be required. If so your pattern will be altered and shirt remade and your finished shirt will be delivered to you

We care a great deal about our creations hence you will be provided with advice on how to best care for and maintain your shirt. Each shirt is numbered, logged and records of your measurements kept so that ordering of additional shirts made in the future can be made more efficiently.

Made to Measure Shirts

An F.T. Russell made to measure shirt is individually made to create an impeccably tailored shirt that’s exclusive to you.

All you have to do is to arrange an appointment for us to call on you for a consultation at your home or office.

Under our guidence you will select from a variety of collar and cuff shapes and an almost limitless choice of cloth from England, Italy and Switzerland.

After your requirements that best meet your individual fashion style are determined, we then proceed as follows:

  • 1.First Fitting
  • This process, involves you trying on one of our pre cut shirts and once the ideal fit is ascertained our highly trained staff will then note your required neck, sleeve length and tail length.
  • 2. Cloth Cutting
  • Utilising the selected pre cut pattern, it is then chalked around on the selected cloth and the outlay of the shirt cut by hand.
  • 3. Assembling
  • Your shirt is individually hand sewn and is always finished with the highest grade mother of pearl buttons.
  • 4.Final Piece
  • Your F.T Russell is then ready for your final fitting.
